21 June: beginning of the wristband pre-sale for the 25th Medieval Journey
The pre-sale of wristbands for the 25th Medieval Journey in the Land of Santa Maria starts today, the 21st of June. The wristband guarantees a passport to a unique 12-day journey through the early years of the consolidation of the Kingdom of Portugal, through the different reigns of the First Dynasty. From 3 to 14 of August, the city of Santa Maria da Feira goes back to the Middle Ages, becoming an intense stage for these moments of Portuguese History.
In the first pre-sale phase, which runs until 20 July, the wristband costs €8. Between 21 and 31 July, the second pre-sale phase, it will cost €9. From 1 August until the end of the Medieval Journey, 14 August, the wristband can be purchased for €10.
The wristbands for the 25th Medieval Journey in the Land of Santa Maria can be purchased online, in the official shop of the Municipality of Santa Maria da Feira, at www.smstore.pt or at ticketline https://ticketline.sapo.pt. The wristbands are also available at the various shops of the ticketline network, namely at the Loja Interativa de Turismo, in Santa Maria da Feira (Rua Dr. Roberto Alves, 52, from Monday to Friday, from 9am to 1pm and from 2pm to 6pm, and on Saturdays, from 10am to 1pm and from 2pm to 5pm).
The daily ticket to access the venue is also available for sale online and at the ticketline shops with the following prices: €4 (Monday to Thursday), €5 (Friday, Saturday and Sunday).
The Special Medieval Journey Pack is also available, containing four wristbands, a pendant, the book Lia, the Christian Princess and a voucher for a 10% discount on purchases in the Official Medieval Journey shop. The pack can be purchased online at www.smstore.pt,at the Interactive Tourism Shop and at the Castle. The price of this pack is €32 until 20 July, €36 between 21 and 31 July and €40 from 1 August onwards.

The Medieval Journey´s wristbands are a collector’s item for many locals and visitors,
requiring greater care in their design, that is why they are always associated with the theme of each edition. With two complementary colours symbolising the event’s stop and return, the wristband’s central element is the 25th edition’s seal. The year 2022 gains relevance and the pattern of the Pereira’s cross that makes up the ends of the wristbands symbolises the “feast of union”, which is what is truly expected of this 25th Medieval Journey in the Land of Santa Maria.
The 25th Medieval Journey in the Land of Santa Maria is organised by the Municipality of Santa Maria da Feira, the municipal company Feira Viva – Culture and Sports and the Federation of Culture and Recreation Collectivities of the Municipality of Santa Maria da Feira.
