Safe Child Wristband

At the event gates and information booths, volunteers from the Viagem Medieval will provide a free identification wristband for young children, which should be filled out with the child’s name, the responsible adult’s name, and a contact number.

NOTA:

› The daily ticket is valid for a single entry on the chosen date at the time of purchase and does not allow re-entry to the event. The organization reserves the right to request identification from visitors.

› Wristbands purchased online or through the Ticketline network must be exchanged for the physical wristband during the event at any access entrance. There is no need to go to a local ticket booth.

› The Access Wristband or Royal Wristband must be worn on the wrist and comfortably adjusted. It should not be removed until the end of the event, as it is personal and non-transferable.

› Terms of use for the Royal Wristband’s free admission to the themed areas: El Rei Castle, the Afternoon Medieval Tournament, and the King’s Speech:

¹⁾El Rei Castle – presentation of the Royal Wristband, properly worn on the wrist, is mandatory at the castle entrance. Admission is subject to venue capacity;

²⁾Afternoon Medieval Tournament – collection of a free ticket is mandatory at one of the event’s internal ticket offices, no later than 30 minutes before each session. Admission is subject to venue capacity, and the Royal Wristband must be presented properly worn on the wrist.

³⁾King’s Speech – collection of a free ticket is mandatory at one of the event’s internal ticket offices, no later than 30 minutes before the selected afternoon session. Admission is subject to venue capacity, and the Royal Wristband must be presented properly worn on the wrist

› For one-day visitors, we recommend planning your visit in advance to select shows and areas that allow you to make the most of the Medieval Journey in Santa Maria. It is not possible to visit, attend, and enjoy all the shows, themed areas, and activities in their entirety within just one day at the event;

› The space has a limited capacity;

› Admission rights reserved;

› Routes are not recommended for people with reduced mobility;

› The castle does not allow the entry of mobility aid devices;

› Ticket and/or wristband exchanges or refunds are not permitted.

› Tickets for visitors with disabilities and/or reduced mobility must be purchased at the Vila da Feira, Official store (Rua dos Descobrimentos 5, 4520-201 Santa Maria da Feira) or at the Experience Point (the latter available only during the event).

› A 50% discount applies to any type of ticket for visitors with disabilities and/or reduced mobility;

› The discount is granted at the time of purchase, at the local ticket office, to visitors with a disability level of at least 60%. The organization reserves the right to request valid proof of disability or an official medical certificate;

› The organization offers a free ticket to the accompanying person at the time of purchase, in cases where medical documentation confirms that the person with a disability and/or reduced mobility is not autonomous;

› Due to the terrain’s morphology, a free ticket is also granted to the companion of a wheelchair user, upon purchase;

› For visitors with disabilities and/or reduced mobility, recommended parking is located next to the Municipal Swimming Pool. Car access is allowed up to this location, with signposted parking spaces available.
